How Digital Portable X-Ray Works

The portable X-ray procedure reduces discomfort through the use of a single panel placement and is efficient.

1. Information is entered into the computer with interface to LCD Operation Panel. 2. The technician properly positions the patient and detector plate. 3. Exposure conditions are selected to match the targeted anatomical area.
8. Results are available through verbal communication, fax, and online via the PPX Health Network internet system. 4. The image is taken and is immediately available for viewing on the display.
7. Images are transmitted to the Radiologist for interpretation and are available electronically for Primary Physician and Medical Specialty consultations. 6. The system is immediately ready to capture the next image, storing up to hundreds in a row with only momentary pauses between each. 5. The technician confirms body position, exposure and other factors determining a quality image.
